I found I have to use this technique with the Tarot of the Animal Lords, the standard 'tarot' meanings just didn't work for me with this, but when I switched to using the images only (no LWB or standard meanings) the deck really started talking to me and made a lot more sense.

Has anyone found that they had to shift how they read a particular deck to be able to get the full readability out of it?

(I know the board has been down a long while now, just trying to jump start some things here).
