Have you guys heard about it? I have started applying it at the beginning of the year, and its changing my life. Please give your opinions and thoughts on it.

but, there have been little changes, like getting my learners permit and passing, even though i sucked. Finding a voice teacher, FOR FREE. Attracting more friends. Inner peace. Lately i haven't really been going anywhere, but i assure you it works. My favorite story, which by the way still dazzles me is this. I was failing geometry with an F. I passed the 3rd quarter with a D, the 4th with an F, and the final exam with an F. Before i took the exam, I was loosing hope, but the very day before i don't know...i was happy, i visualised myself screaming and happy. I took the exam and failed...but I still passed. I couldn't believe it, i can't wait till next year to ask her how i passed.

I love the secret. it was so artfully done.

the thing is I find if I only use visualization alone nothing noticable happens but if I make the slightest effort to incorperate some material tool. even simple things like inscribing a candle or tying a simple knot.

that my wish is 5 times more likely to manifest, perhaps working magic purely on the mental level only creates these things on a mental level but to manifest something on a more material level you have to do something meaningfull and symbolic that you can touch and feel in order to get results.

Having something to hold on to keeps reminding yourself the goal that you want to achieve so it can be a powerfull tool to help this kind of visualization magick.

I agree. You have to make actions that go along with your desire, and things happen harmoniously.

And ofcourse you have to go out and do some things that will allow the spell a chance to manifest.

Positive thinking really does give you strengh and can change your life.
But spellcraft is like Sympathetic magic. it uses the natural energies of objects and symbolism. that gives it the power and the ritual directs the energies in the right direction. heaps more effective.

its like putting the secret idea and putting it on overdrive.

Witches have known all these things not only the power of thought but the properties of herbs and other objects to help lend power to the wish before there was even electricity.

But it is a clever bit of marketing genious even if it is a bit gimicky I'll give them credit. It is well done,

I think this is good for the general public but as for the magick community I think it is overly simple. everything in it is basic knowlege.

I've been talking to other witches that i still keep in contact with and I introduced it to her and she didn't agree. she said that it was like "sugar coated" you know? and she was not down with it. I tried to explain to her but, I like failed...i see where she's coming from though. I've been like wondering, about The Secret, since you acttract everything to you, does that mean that "Everything happens for a reason" no longer applies?
